There are classics from the past 50 years (1922-1972) made popular by some of the true female artists of Pop, Broadway and Country. The numbers are designed to delight the Blues novice and the Blues enthusiast, and are delivered in the styles of some of the most familiar female vocalists of the past half-century of music – all of the "Ladies" who created an art form and sang their way into legend. In 90 minutes of song a bygone era is recaptured in this salute to the women who sang it all... whose turn of phrase and style of singing made history.
